This past weekend we stopped by Dolphins Stadium to catch a Florida Marlins game. The baseball action took a backseat to the food, as we ate our way through the stadium's delicacies.

If you’ve never heard of Beach Tennis USA tomorrow is your chance to see what all the fuss is about. The “Sunshine State Slam” will take place this Saturday and Sunday right on the beach at Ocean Drive between 8th and 9th Street.

The Ocean Drive Marquee at the International Polo Club Palm Beach

This year's U.S. Open Polo Championship at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach saw a face-off between Crab Orchard and Las Monjitas, with Crab Orchard coming out on top 15-12 in front of a sold-out crowd. We stopped by the Ocean Drive tent to catch up with some of the event's spectators.

The fourth annual Beach Ball Festival takes up residency on the sand on 9th and Ocean this Sunday.

The festival, brought to you by nightlife impresarios, Tommy Pooch and Alan Roth, will feature all manner of fun in the sun. There will be competitions ranging from tug of war to dodge ball as well as live performances by Pitbull and Trina.

The field for the 2008 Stanford International Pro-Am is starting to come together as one of the strongest field’s of the season. The Stanford International Pro-Am, a new 72-hole LPGA-sanctioned event, will be played April 21-27, 2008 on the Soffer and Miller Courses at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura, Fla.

The weather lately has been great for fishing. Biscayne Bay continued to produce some nice bonefish and permit for Captain Rich Smith this week. Hotspots included Burger King Flat, East Arsenicker Key, Midnight Pass and Porpoise Point.
