In celebration of our triumphant athletes competing in the Beijing Olympics, Gold Medalist and Miami Heat star, Dwayne Wade will be hosting a Team USA Basketball celebration at Nikki Beach Marina. Dwayne Wade scored an astonishing 27 points in the Olympic game against Team Spain, helping to secure the first victory for Team USA Basketball since 2000.
This gold, red, and white (only!) themed party promises to be one of the most exclusive parties of the year. The party happens this Saturday (August 30th) at 11:00 pm with DJ Top Feeling and DJ Griot spinning the tunes to keep you moving all night long.

Gen Art, the art and entertainment organization dedicated to emerging media, music, and fashion, is hosting Shop Miami on Thursday, June 26. This four-hour fashion and beauty event, reminiscent of a New York sample sale, features over 40 of Miami’s hottest designers and boutiques including Adriana Castro, Amaya Swimwear, Susan Elias Couture, Downtown Divas, Eduardo de las Casas, Karma Kultura, and many others. The event also features sounds by DJ Induce, complementary beauty services and manicures by Lace Nail Lab, and specialty cocktails from 10cane rum. Be sure to stick around for the runway show at 9 pm. The event takes place at the Moore Building with the VIP one-hour pre-sale starting at 6pm and the main event running from 7pm to 11pm. South Beach played host to actor Sean William Scott and director Steven Conrad for the advanced screening of their new movie "The Promotion". The film, which also stars John C. Reilly and Jenna Fischer, is a comedy about rival grocery store clerks and their battle over a coveted managerial position. GenArt and Acura hosted the event and a number of famous faces from both our beach and the west coast were in attendance. The after-party continued at the legendary B.E.D. where guests lounged on cozy beds, listened to the sounds of DJ Ray Milian, and sipped complementary beverages provided by Peroni and 360 Vodka.
