Sivananda, Ashtanga, Bikram, Vinyasa - if you're not a yoga master it can be hard to decide where to get your downward dog on. We hit nearly all the classes on the Beach and here's the scoop on our favorite places to drop our mats.
Funyasa with Natalie Morales: This power-vinyasa hybrid class lives-up to its clever title. You’ve never had so much fun while sweating (well, maybe) - Morales (you may recognize her from Plum's morning yoga show) is easy to understand, fun to follow and a guaranteed good workout. You can find her and her Funyasa at Equinox in Merrick Park, The Yoga Room, RinaYoga & Miami Life Center.
Power Yoga with Paul Toliuzis: This is the Saturday morning class on the Beach. Get there early. It will be packed. Touliuzis (rhymes with delicous) is one of Miami’s most well-known and respected instructors & will guide you through his L.A. Style Power Yoga sequence. You'll be hooked - we promise.

Vinyasa with Moses: You will love taking classes from Moses (aka Michael Kup), founder of the Miami-based yoga brand “I Love Yoga”. You can join Moses for some mat time at The Yoga Room and Synergy Yoga Center. Can't get enough? Take in some of Moses' wisdom off the mat with his book, Live Hard, Because You Can.
Yoga in Bayfront Park: On Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays, head over to Bayfront Park to enjoy one of Miami’s best kept yoga secrets – free, outdoor classes overlooking beautiful Biscayne Bay. The instructors rotate, but the real beauty of this class is the chill, outdoor vibe. Classes focus on de-stressing, and in that atmosphere, it’s a breeze.
