Party like a movie star. This week that should be the theme of the nightlife flick that is your life. I want you to hit up all the places your favorite celebrities love to chill at.
Rub elbows with Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston or Quentin Tarantino enough times and you’ll soon realize they are no different from you or me.They too enjoy a good cocktail and though they may not share your wish to party like a movie star, if you follow this sagely advice you are more than likely to spot them partying like rock stars.
On Thursday, check out the re-launching of Basic Thursdays at Dek23. It’s their first night after moving from the now defunct Suite and they're busting out the heavy artillery. They got DJ Ross One to man the turntables for the night.
On Friday, though this sounds ridiculous, I want you to pay a visit to the Deuce Bar. It may look like a dive bar, but for some reason it’s a favorite of stars like Quentin Tarantino and celeb chef Anthony Bourdain has been known to pound a few back at this bar as well.
Saturday, if you’re into A-list movie stars and the places they drink at, you’ll no doubt enjoy hitting up the Coral Bar at Tides Hotel. This tiny hole in wall, hidden away from the rest of world is where Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston shared a night out recently. It’s intimate and fun and you should have no problem striking up a conversation with whoever walks in.
On Sunday, you have two choices, If you’re into the big stars and want to party where Mat Damon and Sting party, then you’ll want to pay patronage to Skybar's Red Room with Tommy Pooch and Alan Roth. If you feeling like getting a little bit more gangsta though, then it’s a must you hit up The Forge’s Soul Kitchen Sunday.
