Notes from the production field...
Mood on the set this week is super upbeat & we’re all excited about our guests and hilarious demos. We had as much fun off set as we did on with Emilio Estefan, Dr Agatston and Barton G, who all seem to know each other - the Miami world shrinks by the day.
Politics were a hot topic as we dished Republican candidates with Mary Ellen Miller, chairman of the Republican Party for Miami Dade County, and local issues (hello property tax) with New Times reporter Francisco Alvarado. It was also a big week of firsts – acupuncturist Lori Bell became the first person to insert a needle into a Plum employee on camera, yoga instructor Loren Russo usherd in the first live musical performance on set and salon owner Cy Cook brought the first entourage – Asian-themed and bedecked with hair extensions – no less.
On tap for next week – Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower, author Hanala Stadner, Neiman Marcus fashion expert Katherine Rubino, Base owner Steven Giles, local vintage guru Madeline Kirsch and more!

Those spaces for her and the commissioners were at the expense of all Accessible Parking Spoaces to City Hall. The Disabled Access Committee of Miami Beach City hall would like to be able to present our side of the action that took place last year. All year we have been told they will discuss it later, since the last boat show.
What really agrivates us is that most of the time these spaces are empty so we can see what our representatives are not doing for us. Janet Grant, Vice-Chair of DAC
