The fourth annual Beach Ball Festival takes up residency on the sand on 9th and Ocean this Sunday.
The festival, brought to you by nightlife impresarios, Tommy Pooch and Alan Roth, will feature all manner of fun in the sun. There will be competitions ranging from tug of war to dodge ball as well as live performances by Pitbull and Trina.
The event is for a worthwhile cause and proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
In fact, last year Pooch and A3TV’s Buster dared Roth to shave his head on stage to raise money for the foundation. When the word got around, restaurants and clubs started throwing in money, dying to see Roth go bald. $1500, Roth was left looking like Britney Spears after a meltdown.
Maybe he’ll do it again this year, but the only way to find out is by attending. The festivities start at noon and go on till 6pm.
