
The 24th Annual Miami Book Fair is in full swing. With more than 300 authors and hundreds of thousands of book lovers all centered around so many events, how can you make sense of it all? We’re here to help break it down.
Friday
It's a busy day at the Book Fair. Enjoy the opening parade to officially kick-off the weekend then browse Children's Alley and the International Village. Come evening, settle in with Caroline Kennedy as she speaks about her new book, A Family Christmas or Cuban author Carlos Alberto Montaner as he presents Las Columnas de Libertad (in Spanish). Lip Service takes the stage at the Write Out Loud! Cafe while creative writing classes cover the likes of "First Impressions - Crafting a Strong Beginning" and "The Life Cycle of a Book - From Inspiration to Standing Ovation."
Saturday
Take the kids to Children’s Ally for performances by The Momentum Dance Company, Dr. Seuss, Arthur, Dora the Explorer and Curios George. Then head over to the Street Fair for books galore. End your evening with a live performance by the Rock Bottom Remainders, a band of best selling authors including Kathy Goldmark, Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson, Roy Blount, Jr and Scott Turow.
Sunday
Stroll around the Street Fair where more than 250 exhibitors line the streets offering books from large, small and independent publishers. If you’ve missed out on the fun thus far, you can check out the International Village and Children’s Ally.
