With nearly 365 days of perpetual flip-flop weather, you're going to
want to have your toes in tip-top condition. Add a manicure to top it
off, and you're good to go.
With so many options, where do you schedule your spoil session? No
worries, Plum has you covered. We've done the research, trying out
Miami's mani/pedi destinations (it's a hard life, we know) and here's
our run down of where to get soaked, scrubbed, buffed and polished.
This super cute nail boutique will have you at hello. Lace Nail Lab's girly interior (pink and white everywhere)
includes a small shopping area where you can find the perfect
accessories to compliment your shiney new fingers and toes. Make a
habit of coming here, as they love their regulars.
Lace Nail Lab; $50; 305-604-0111.
It's all about you at ME Day Spa. Tucked
away on Alton Road (right behind Lime Mexican Grill), ME is a great
place to relax on the weekend and see where your mani and pedi take you
(the staff has a way of charming you into other treatments while you're
there, which are totally worth it.)
ME Day Spa; $50; 305-534-6363; www.medayspa.com.
Is your nail maintenence is more of a necessity and less of a luxury?
Get the job done well without paying an arm and a leg (this is about
spoiling their attachments, you know) at The Nail House. This family owned establishment will keep your tips in top condition.
The Nail House; $40 - $65; 305-867-2555
Want the ultimate spoil for those fingers and toes? Take them over to the Ritz-Carlton South Beach
(psst… we hear Vilma gives a wicked good treatment). As you soak your
feet in the bubbly footbath, why not indulge in a little bubbly? It's
complimentary during your treatment.
The Ritz-Carlton South Beach; $100 - $150; 786-276-4000; www.ritzcarlton.com.
Make it to the second floor of Brownes & Co. (this requires
resisting the amazing product selection on the first floor) and you
have earned the pleasure awaiting you at Some Like it Hot. Make sure to ask for the electric foot buffer (sounds scary) but we promise, your feet have never been softer.
Some Like it Hot at Brownes & Co.; $50 - $60; 305-538-7544; www.brownesbeauty.com.
The Standard does offer a "standard" mani/pedi, but
the amenities included with the package are anything but (standard,
that is). Make it a day as you enjoy the breathtaking views, pool and
lavish mud baths. Feel like a little reckless spending? Book the Santa
Maria Novella mani/pedi. Exclusive to The Standard, this two-hour hand
and foot treatment is worth every penny (all $150 worth).
The Standard; $65 - $150; 305-673-1717; www.standardhotel.com.
