Sleepless Night is Coming

Break out the Red Bull - Sleepless Night is here. Inspired by Paris's Nuit Blanche, Sleepless Night is an all-night citywide celebration of arts and culture. From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on November 3, Miami Beach will be loaded with performance and fine arts, dance, theater, music and more - all free and open to the public.

Exhibitions and performances are happening throughout the island - here are a few of the highlights:

  • The Luminarium "Levity III" An interactive walk-through environment consisting of pure light and color, hard to explain – a must to experience.
  • Spiegelworld's taste of "Absinthe", an acro-burlesque-vaudeville-variety show paired with "Global Cuba," a musical performance starring Los Herederos.
  • Spend a (sandy) night at the movies with Miami International Film Festival’s Movies on the Beach on 7th Street & 14th Street.
  • The South Beach Comedy Festival and "Rudy Perez Presents" share the Euclid Oval Stage on Lincoln Road with a line-up featuring music, comedy, dancers and more.
  • Step away from the hustle and bustle and onto charming Espanola way for "Sleepless Cine-Theatre", which combines film and live performers.
  • At the Bass Museum, Aerial dance groups Provisional Danza and Animate Objects Physical Theater will be flying high.
  • Galactic Plastic is a fashion show starring you. Enter the tent at 13th and Ocean Drive and emerge a sparkly, South Beach superstar.
  • Keep your eyes peeled for the “Post-it Project”, an installation featured on various buildings throughout Lincoln Road.
  • Head over to the Colony Theater on Lincoln Road at 1 a.m. to experience the alter ego of Todd Waddington as he becomes Harriett Levy.
