Thank You Nicole Clark for

Thank You Nicole Clark for your excellent, eye opening film. I encourage all parents to teach your children, especially our young girls, to question the messages we are receiving from the media. "Media Detox: Cover Girl Culture" is definitely a film worth viewing.
Thanks Day Break for interviewing Ms. Clark.

This film is CRITICAL for

This film is CRITICAL for youth today! THANK YOU, Nicole Clark, for dedicating the past 3 1/2 years of your life to making this documentary and recognizing its dire need! So many speak in vague terms about today's youth having a skewed perception of childhood, health, beauty, worth, and achievement. Such ambiguity is an indifference to any real solution. Your film acknowledges that as adults, WE play a role in defining youth's goals. We should know better! And "we" incudes the entire media machine from the agency promoting a stick figure model to the parent buying sexy lingerie for a 10-year old! The imbalance is evident - and, now so is a solution: THINK ABOUT IT before you CONSUME it! Thank you DayBreak for highlighting this film and its message!

So greatful to DayBreak for

So greatful to DayBreak for the interview with director, Nicole Clark. Her film, Media Detox: Cover Girl Culture has the potential to educate and empower us all; so essential in these times of negative media bombardment.
Let's hope for it's WIDE RELEASE !

Thank you Nicole for sending

Thank you Nicole for sending out this message. As a mom of three young girls I worry about what they are being exposed to on a day to day basis. I can control some of what they are seeing but I can't control it all. I think the media does need to take some responsibility and be more aware of the effect that they have on our children. Where can a person see your film if they cannot be in Miami?
