Luiz is one of the most selfless people I know and is absolutely passionate about protecting Miami Beach's environment. He is the ONLY person I know who actually WORKS tirelessly and selflessly to ORGANIZE groups of people whom he LEADS onto fabulously FUN and EFFICIENT beach and park clean-ups.
As a marine biologist, he is able to educate people about the delicate marine eco-system we must preserve. He deserves all of your support - please help him spread the good word about ECOMB. The organization's programs will benefit from grants and serious supporters - and I hope, in my heart of hearts, that Plum Miami Beach continues to support Luiz Rodrigues's work and vision.

In days where Going Green has almost become hip, it's important to support organizations like ECOMB which have been around for years. ECOMB's commitment to keeping Miami Beach clean and beautiful for all relies on the support of the community. The attraction of Miami Beach to the tourism industry as well as the happiness of local inhabitants has benefited from organizations like ECOMB and will continue to do so in the future. Keep up the good work, Luiz.
Ever since Luiz and I were college students out at the University of California, Santa Cruz he always showed how much he cares for the environment and the people around him. We need more people out there more than ever.
It's a shame that we need an organization like ECOMB. I am thrilled with the work that Luiz does on behalf of keeping Miami Beach beautiful. But, the fact that the NEED for ECOMB exists is a collective indictment of some people's stupidity and selfishness at not protecting the beauty of our natural world.
