The town of Cutler began as a small seaside community in the mid 1800's. When plans for a local railroad fell through, residents packed up and moved out. Decades later a man named Charles Deering rediscovered the forgotten property and built his home where the town of Cutler once stood. Today the history of Cutler and the Deering Estate are protected by the Dade County. Explore the lost town of Cutler with PLUM.

To think that an entire town
To think that an entire town was built and completely deserted in a matter of a few years is fascinating. The guide does a great job bringing this story to life. Very interesting.
